How isn't he? If you force Matthysse to back up for a whole 12 rounds, almost kill Tim Bradley, and beat the piss out of Alvarado (when he was champion) obviously you're a decent pressure fighter.

He can be outboxed, sure. He has his flaws but in no way, shape or form does Broner has the ability to expose them.
I think he does, he has enough movement to stay out of range. Enough power to slow Ruslan, enough speed to land combinations, and is savvy enough to hold his opponent if he gets too close for comfort. He'll throw cheap shots, fight dirty and his stamina doesn't die in the middle rounds like Ruslan's. The Ring will be big. Broner has a good chin too, he has absorbed a lot of big punches and never been stopped. Ruslan is not a finisher, the one high profile stoppage he got it took him ages to get Alvarado out. I favor him to win.

Alvarado & Matthysse aren't hard to find, it doesn't take a great pressure fighter to get them to engage and he still couldn't close distance on Matthysse properly for most of the fight.

I'll be supporting Provo, but I think he will struggle to close out a decision.

He had Matthysse backing up the entire fight. That tells you a lot.

The the word elite out, any world class pressure fighter would beat Broner.

Broner isn't savvy enough to hold his opponent, he doesn't have enough movment to stay out of range. Not against good fighters he doesn't.

We'll have to wait and see. If the fights gets made I'll bet you all my points Ruslan wins.

Provo's a good fighter, I just think the style match-up favors Broner (who is not quite as useless as most think he is), probably doesn't get made but you're on if it happens, all points down.

What do you mean this doesn't get made?

I like Broner for his entertainment value but I don't see how Broner is not getting Kaoyed. Prov beats Broner to a pulp via Alvarado style. Wouldn't be surprised if Broner quits.

91 % here believe Provo takes it! I agree with the house, he is just too strong for Broner (Adrian is really flat footed since stepping up his competition) and he will have him backing up from Rd 1 on.

agreed. But still a bad match up for Ruslan. He needs a ****er to fight. Broner will run all night and that may hurt Ruslan on the cards. Or Broner. Just an ugly fight IMO!
