Honestly Khan needs a good opponent now, he's been very careful since Garcia folded him like a chair. If he wants to put himself in the mix of the best fighters at WW, he needs to fight one, and a good one who can punch.
And Thurman too, the next step is a big name like Khan, anything less than Khan and he's standing still.
Neither guy has an opponent, both are in need of a good name to add to their record. Makes perfect sense for them to fight, which means it wont happen...
And for Haymon, if he wants a good fight to show his PBC venture means business, this is the perfect one. He can built on LSC v Mares with a fight like this.Last edited by deathofaclown; 08-03-2015, 02:14 PM.

Same usual nonsense coming from Sometimes. Since when did he object to whatever scrap Haymon puts in front of him? Give him Joselito Lopez and he'll say no problem, he's the only one available.
This guy is full of ****. Aren't you guys getting sick of these clowns?

Seriously Khan v Bradley/Porter/Brook are all bigger fights. I'd prefer any of them over this Thurman wannabe but it'd be nice to see him get shut up, so why not.

Both fighters were chasing the lucrative September 12th date against WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. According to the widespread press clippings, both fighters have been passed over in favor of former champion Andre Berto.

When Mayweather retires, will these guys actually fight each other ?
Is that what the problem is ?
The same with Brook/Pacquiao/Bradley.
None of them want to get their feet wet SMDH
There is a massive gulf between Mayweather and the next best welter.
