No clue how Chaves keeps getting these fights he has won only 1 fight in the last 3 years. Now he gets a title shot? lol

But seriously I don't mind this fight rather this then Rios or Brooks last opponent. Khan won't fight him, Thurman wont fight him, ect. I haven't heard a better option then this for Brook.

Porter said no to the rematch just recently.

      Khan is Witness Protection Program.

For, some strange peculiar reason Thurman has turned this fight down twice.

Maidana may make grand entrance a LHW

BRADLEY, was a great option but Brook said no don't know why.

He could have fought Chaves in May, but decided to fight Fish and Chips Gavin

Brook has wasted a year fighting bums and no namers

Hopefully next year he fights someone who isnt coming off 3 losses in 4 fights

Chaves is the new Soto Karass

Chaves is not exactly the type of opponent Brook needs in lift his profile...

Meh, average fight. Has some name value, but will get beaten up with ease. I don't know, kind of felt this would happen after seeing Hearn's twitter - Definitely a step down from the Rios fight in terms of stature and name value and probably also entertainment.

Doubt this will end up as PPV.

Not really excited and think Brook will be too strong and smash him to bits in 6 or 8 rounds.

I really, really hate how Brook is active. Yet fights these mediocre guys. Save for the Porter bout he's fast turning into the British Golovkin.

Well Porter was good enough to beat the guys you picked to beat him i.e. Alexander, and then you picked him to beat Brook - But now he's no good

Given prior form, it seems doubtful.

It's step down from Rios in terms of name value but Chaves was beating Rios quite clearly in their fight.

It's on the same night as Fury-Klitschko so I reckon Sky will probably get that fight and stick it on PPV together.
