  • Will Boxing Ever Be Able To Regain Credibility After PBC's Inevitable Failure?

I mean, it hasn't really had any credibility in pure sporting terms for many, many years now, but PBC and it's consistently crappy cards - initially designed to reintroduce boxing to the masses - seem to be dragging it further and further down to joke level.

It's a shame, because I really had high hopes for this experiment when it was first announced. I figured the near monopoly Big Gay Al has on boxing in North America would finally result in the best matchups possible delivered on a regular basis, but it's just not worked out, unfortunately; poor matchmaking is simply too ingrained into uncle Al.

It will take time but yes Boxing will regain credibility to casuals

Hardcore fans will always watch boxing

And I knew PBC was gonna be a failure from the start because of Haymon's track record at HBO and SHO. Everything this guy touches turns to ****

Boxing hasn't been credible in decades..

But PBC has been very disappointing in terms of matchmaking... The best fights they have had, have all been good solid matchups, but they are few and far between...
I'm holding out hope that PBC steps up their matchmaking in year 2..

When is boxing scene gonna permanently ban all of these blatant trolls?

Did you watch the same fights? The first two didnt make it pass the second round. Mora should have been a NC. The second fight was a mismatch and Garcia vs Paulie was more borings as Mayweather vs...well, All his opponents!

              Since March: Thurman-Guerrero, Garcia-Peterson, Lee-Quillin, Dirrell-DeGale, Khan-Algieri, Broner-Porter, LSC-Mares.

What has HBO done since March? Please list the fights.

Of course the laughing stock of the boxing community, PAC-BOY, makes a appearance in this thread.
