He took an obvious dive. Tupoo's heart is as strong as khan's chin.

seemed a bit whiffy but i wasnt in there taking the shot either. I saw Green v Briggs and the stink after it, and maybe some people are shot without letting on. The punch resistence of Tupou may mean its time to hang em up though if that was legit. No one wants blokes to get hurt or put out too often like that.

Watching it live and seeing several replays, yes it was difficult to see but it looked like a punch at or near the top of the head and maybe somewhat to the upper temple area. But, hey, it could have been a dive. I guess they'd have to put Tupou on a lie detector and maybe even then not know definitely. Just seems kind of odd to me to have an opponent take a dive vs a fighter who will soon be going against the serious competition. Doesn't make sense.

The DEFINITIVE PROOF will be his next fights as he moves up the ladder. How's he do vs Chisora, Thompson, Stiverne, Charr, Chambers? Will be interesting to find out.

Sherman is tough as an oak tree and has, to my knowledge, never been dropped or stopped barring an early loss in the last century. Parker was rocking him all night, backing him up and making him hold on for dear life, so I'm not sure where you got the notion that he wasn't troubling him from.

          Parker clearly hits extremely hard.

I remember Williams rocking parker with overhand rights and having him on his bicycle.

Yes parker rocked Williams too, but he's 42, 5'11" and 270lbs, so what do you expect.

Yes Williams is tough but he's never faced a world class heavyweight (and no, 57 year old holyfield does not count" so let's not pretend he's this guy who would walk through prime foremans shots.

Wlad would KO sherman in 3 rounds

Even Thompson price 1, with the weird ear shot, it does more take your legs away than anything, both those shots connected better too.

I dont recall ever seeing anyone go down like they have been shot with an elephant gun when they got grazed on top of the head with the edge of the glove, either Tupo has the worst punch resistence i've ever seen or that was a sham

I was at the Williams fight and number no Sherman didn't actually take too many what I would call flush shots. He took some good one's but used his experience to roll with a lot of others. I don't think you can underestimate the work Kevin Barry has fone with him as well. That Williams fight is around 12 months ago now and I know they have done a ton of work on improving punching technique. I suggest if he re-matched Williams now he would flatten him.

If you remember Williams 'rocking' Parker in that fight and having him go backwards you were watching a different fight to the rest of the world and may I politely suggest you start sharing some of the drugs you're taking but they must be damn good.

Even the HILARIOUSLY biased NZ sports media mentioned williams rocking parker in several of their post fight write ups, i love to read them as they always give me a good chuckle when they talk about Parker and his "road to the title"

"road to beating up a load of diving bums" is more like it!

That's a title Chris Arreola will be interested in.
