Comments Thread For: Campbell vs. Coyle Early Results From Hull: Hall Wins

On the non-televised undercard action from a wet Craven Park Stadium in Hull there were four round decision wins for George Rhodes Jr (2-0) at welterweight, Charlie Flynn (4-0) at light welterweight with light middleweight Connor Seymour (3-0-2) picking up a points victory over six.

Veteran journeyman of over 200 fights Kristian Laight upset the apple cart in the fourth bout of the evening edging out local fighter Carl Chadwick 2-1 over four rounds at light welterweight. The victory was Laight’s tenth of his professional career and his 219th bout since his pro debut in 2009.

An expected win, but a good win nonetheless. Switching trainer hasn't appeared to affect Whyte.

Can't wait for him against Joshua.

Nice win for Whyte. Costa Jr. is your typical trialhorse punching bag nowadays. A few guys have fought him the last year. Lots of HWs coming out of great Britain the last several years. It would be great to see him fight Joshua, Hughie Fury or David Price.

Not whyte's fault but that was a dive.

His people set it up so they can cash out on the Joshua fight.

The commentators also knew but had to play it off.

That was one of the most obvious fixed fights I've ever seen.

The opponent was a bad actor.

Respect to Kristian Laight. A 10th win from 219 bouts. Imagine how crap you have to be to lose to him though.
