It's funny the people that don't know jack shat about boxing keep calling GGG a coward for not facing Ward. Let's see GGG still hasn't cleaned out the Middleweight Division and has plenty of good money fights there. Ward HAS cleared out the Super Middleweight Division but is too big of a poocee to move up and face Kovalev so he keeps calling out the smaller guy! Ward can't draw flies to shat and won't leave the comforts of home to fight with his ugly ass style, headbutt, hug, dance, so why would anyone want to fight his sorry ass! Ward grow a pair move up already and stop calling out someone in a lower weight class and fight someone your own size!Comment

But he had a couple years of little activity, people like to bash on him for low ratings, bash on his manager, Prince......what a lot of people don't realize is that he's about where Floyd was at in his prime pre-Oscar. Prince was his manager and two fights before De La Hoya was having a hard time filling arenas with 7K people.........
Ward will beat them both. I think Kovalev is the easier fight for him. He's a younger, naturally bigger, stronger, faster version of Hopkins in many ways. And I think Kovalev will be blunted by Ward and surpised by his strength.
GGG is better at cutting the ring.
But Ward is better at everything but power than both of these guys......he'll do to GGG what Hopkins did to Trinidad and to Kovalev what Hopkins did to Tarver.........he's just more naturally gifted and a better fighter and 'ducking' doesn't apply to him.........at all.........Comment

Get away from the charging G-Man?? Come on bro.....Ward has said he'd fight wGolovkin for a few years now including very recently.

However I disagree. Saying that Ward is better in every part of boxing - can't agree with that. Ward is worse than Kovalev in delivering meaningful punches on the move. Ward is worse than them both at very important aspect - inflicting damage other than mental frustration (which is important as well). So in a fight with this two Ward and his opponent at the start of the fight may not be the same come middle of the fight and on.
Also Ward vs both GGG and Kovalev - when we compare their skill level than may be Ward is superior but really the difference is not that much. Both Golovkin and Kovalev are extremely well schooled amateurs. We can see in the past that Golovkin dealt and was victorious with likes of Dirrel and Bute. That was in amateurs where his power advantage was diminished greatly but gloves/head gear. Those were guys much bigger than him so it means that he had enough skill to outbox them. (Well he did put Bute on his ass - I admit it). Sergey skill set was evident vs Kovalev. Sergey wasn't trying to stop him. He wanted to show that he can box and outbox elite operator. That was untill Hopkins made a mistake and showed his tan trying to tease Kovalev. After that point he looked like a ragged dall and was extremely lucky to survive. Had he managed to upset Sergey earlier in the fight than I don't feel he would be able to avoid being KO'd.
So skill difference is not large by any means. But when we compare power difference than Ward is nowhere near GGG and Kovalev. Ability to inflict damage/brake down his opponent - nowhere near.
I would live to see both fights.Comment

are ggg fans seriously asking why kovaleuv thinks ggg fight is unrealistic? this mofo doesnt even want to move up 1 weight division so why the hell even mention him at 175Comment

As a big GGG fan , there is 5% chance of him beating Kovalev (thats the punchers chance i give him) , too big too skilled to let GGG contol the fight , he will outbox him from the outside and when Kovalev hits flush its over , like any other fight he had in LHW!!!.
its a fun fantasy fight for sure , but if GGG doesnt want to take Ward at 168 there is 0 chance he thinks he can beat the best LHW in years and if he doesnt believe it you guys shouldnt as well....Comment

Bro you're favorite fighter is a coward. That's not my fault. I wish he was brave enough to challenge Andre Ward. I really do. I think it would be an exciting fight. Big drama show. But I am able to separate reality from fantasy. You live in fantasy. I reside in reality.Comment
