Before you try to comment on somthing i suggest you read the storys!! GGG was a world champion amature, kovalev a novice pro....a big difference! Kovalev has growen into a monster since then, and has gained top class pro experiance,GGG would be out of dept compaired to a sparring session he had with kovlev a few years back!

Let's hope the Ward fight happens. Risky fight for both guys and Ward isn't all that far removed from 175 right now.

So let's say if Golovkin was allowed come in at 169-171lbs and Kovalev his normal weight., the fight could happen. Maybe there'd be a hydration limit for Kovalev?

The best case scenario is Kovalev easily making 172lbs like Fonfara fought Chavez, if optionally Golovkin came in at 168lbs there'd only be 4lbs difference. Let's be honest, there wouldn't need to be a title at stake for a fight between GGG and Kovalev!!
Wut? Lol why wouldn't golovkin be allowed to come in underweight..

Exactly. So ward is too small for 168 now so he will to go to 175, I think the reason he really doesn't want to move to 175 is because of Kovalev.

That's right Kovalev!! You know what's good for you. He is basically admitting he wants nothing to do with Gennady, that he couldn't handle him. And that's fine, I respect him for his honesty.
