Yes, to all of you, I'm familiar with these things being a regular occurence but my question is more specifically how it is rigged?
That is, who participates? Do the fighters take a dive? Do the promotors pay the judges? Do the networks decide? Has there ever been any proof discovered?
The thing is, I don't doubt it happens but the truth never seems to come to light. So it's all unsubstantiated, but I'd like to be wrong.

Well there is no direct evidence on the pascal vs gonzales match. But the promotion was set up as a rematch between kovalev vs Pascal, the way the commentators were selling it in the middle of the fight that the fight might be close even though anyone with a brain saw the opposite, and the way all the judges had the same score at the end of the fight.
