I actually agree with him, but while it is illegal fighters absolutely should get punished. The only way to have a level playing field is to let everyone use whatever supplements they wanted.

The problem is fighters will always cheat the system to get an edge over another fighter, actually all athletes will. 95% of Athletes in boxing I'm convinced are taking something, because the testing even under VADA or USADA isn't good enough.

If people who are tested year round, blood and urine under the olympic drug testing are able to cheat the system consistently do you think Boxers who are tested in the 8 weeks up to a fight can't do it too? You could use whatever you wanted then as soon as you knew you were having a fight taper off so you are clear in the 8 weeks up to the fight and still get the benefits of PEDS.

I wish that there was a way to ensure no one could use PEDS but there isn't.

Bottom line is David Price got iced twice to an old fighter with hypertension!
The bottom line is that Tony Thompson chose to not fill out a proper TUE in two seperate fights and even when given a chance to do one retrospectively still managed to mess it up, despite it costing him lots of money. He never provided the evidence needed to prove he had high blood pressure, despite the fact this evidence would have completely cleared his name. He did the bare minimum he needed to not be charged with using the drugs to improve performance.

Most fighters would be slaughtered for this. Fans would rightly say that the whole situation is very fishy and that Thompson isnt acting like an innocent man.

But because Tony Thompson is a likeable character people are letting him off the hook.

So going by general consensus, almost all fighters dope anyway, which means David Price was also on PEDs leading up to his defeats vs Thompson.

          Fair play.

Fuck Tony Thompson, just another drugs cheat with that same cheat's mentality.

I remember his "test me all you want, all you'll find is McDonald's fries" or something to that effect.

Truth was he was on something and he used all the legal avenues he could to keep it concealed for 2 years.

                Exactly...to basically of of this.

Studies have been done to suggest that taking PEDs has the ability to change the body for good therefore giving you positive athletic benefits without needing PEDs after using it during a limited period of time. So basically a fighter taking a PED between not unusual long layoffs boxers tend to have could give him career long benefits.

When that is the reality & probably 90%+ of the testing is just day of the fight anyway, PEDs impact on the sport could potentially be HUGE. This is why I'm on board with allowed PED usage. You already have it to some degree anyway by not having year round testing.

Commissions, promoters, alphabet groups or someone in power somewhere need to require year round random testing or you are basically in support of PED usage with your actions & your anti-PED words should mean nothing.
