uh he tested positive for hydrochlorothiazide.... yeah its a directic and prescribed for high blood pressure. Its pretty odd that a high level boxer in his 20s would have high blood pressure as they should be in great aerobic shape. Almost guaranteed that the paperwork before the fight asks you both if you have high blood pressure and also to list ALL prescribed medications.
They would probably be some slight concern on the physical for having high blood pressure. It should be clear as day if he was legit prescribed for it or not. If hes legit prescribed it and also the commission or olympics docs clear him medically to fight then thats fine. Im willing to bet though his story is all BS, and if he followed all the rules there wouldnt have been an issue.
All of this stories of "oh I didnt know I couldnt take it" are all BS, what part of "list all medications you are taking" is hard to understand?Last edited by elfag; 07-31-2015, 10:11 PM.Comment
