Comments Thread For: Provodnikov's Promoter: No Truth To Broner Fight Talk

Despite what is being spread on the internet, a bout between Ruslan Provodnikov and Adrien Broner is not on the horizon.

Artie Pelullo, the head of Banner Promotions, who represents Provodnikov told BoxingScene.com on Friday afternoon:

"There's absolutely no truth to a fight between Ruslan and Broner. I don't know where it came from. I even saw that there was a poster made by a fan but there has been no conversation from anybody from Al Haymon's people or Showtime for an Adrien Broner fight with Ruslan."

Oh well. Would have been nice, but you had to figure it was a long shot.

Broner would outbox the lumbering Provo

Provo cannot beat Broner and it would be a loss for the robotic Provo. Brone picks the russian apart easily. Provo is not very good or talented.

I disagree with this one. Provo has the power to make Broner move like Madiana did. This is actually a fight to make Broner find the old him. He is caught up in his lavish ways thinking he is Mayweather. This could be the fight that redefine Broner's career.
