Ward on Canelo/Cotto undercard?

Canelo got big living off of Floyd undercards, I don't see the problem here. Yeah, he's (Ward) obviously has been in the game longer but he had a terrible promoter. I don't get how you can complain about good fighters being on the undercard as opposed to just prospects. It won't be a tough fight, but hell it's great exposure.

GGG vs Lemieux should be on the undercard if the winners are really fighting each other. That is how a PPV should be stacked, not like Mayweathers or Manny's.

If you're not Top Rank or Golden Boy or even Haymon, you will never have a star. That's what I mean by terrible promoter, no one has the money to build guys like they do. Ward didn't do himself any favors suing him 5 times either and I don't feel sorry for Ward in anyway. But he would have never been anything more than he is now staying with Goosen. RocNation putting him on the undercard already got him more exposure than he ever got with Goosen.

Ward didn't do himself any favors suing him 5 times either and I don't feel sorry for Ward in anyway. But he would have been anything more than he is now staying with Goosen. RocNation putting him on the undercard already got him more exposure than he ever got with Goosen.

Goosen probably wouldn't have been able to take him to the next level as getting a quality opponent, especially with Ward's style, is always going to be hard.

But everything Goosen did leading Ward up to that point wasn't terrible. It's like criticizing Goosen for being a terrible promoter for not being able to do something yet
