Can't really call him a "PPV star" until seeing how many buys it does.

Ward hasn't always looked good. A lot of his fights were snoozers. If he does in fact fight on the undercard, he better attack because he could bring in some new fans.
        This.

Just because it's a big event doesn't mean it'll get his momentum back. If he stinks it out in front of millions of people, that'll be irreparable damage. TR tried this same approach to build Rigondeaux and it didn't work because he had too many fights that turned fans off.

How did even come close to admitting that? Both teams are already in discussion for a fight next year. Golovkin doesn't ward ward that's plain as day

I get it, you don't want the black boxer to look bad. Next year? Many things can happen from today to next year.

Many latinos are going to be watching this fight. It benefits Ward to win over some of those fans.

There would be oodles of money if that was a co feature. That's not the issue. The issue would be wards ego or lack thereof. That would be epic if it happened. I would have to go to that fight(s).

Sounds like an excellent way to bounce him back from the long career stalling layoff. Wards exposure would be profound. Great strategy on RocNations part.

                      They should do this

                      Main Event

Miguel Cotto (c) vs. Canelo Alvarez

                      NABF Light Heavyweight Title
                      Andre Ward vs Isaac Chilemba

Jayson “La Maravilla” Velez vs Eric Hunter

Carlos “Chicano” Cotto vs Homero Fonseca
