    Lemieux's 31 Ko's in 36 fights works out to a 86.11 % knock out ratio.
    GGG's 30 Ko's in 33 fights works out to a 90.91 % knock out ratio.
So GGG has a higher knockout ratio.

And if Canelo loses to Cotto, Lemieux is sitting there as a beatable comeback opponent with a belt.
Oscar De LaHoya had no choice but to make this fight. They were going to wait for Lemieux to fight his mandatory. But when the IBF ordered Tureano Johnson to fight Eamonn O'Kane for the vacant title. That suddenly means that Tureano Johnson will very likely be the mandatory for Lemieux. Tureano Johnson is an animal and would have a very high chance to beet Lemieux. That would put Lemieux and Oscar out of the picture. So they suddenly decided to take the GGG fight and hope that Lemieux puts on a decent show. GGG will dismantle Lemieux but it will be interesting while it lasts. Will be a war. Great fight. Looking forward to it.

Very exciting action fight coming up here!

Golovkin should win but Lemieux's power cannot be written off. He definitely has that puncher's chance to score an upset.

great point..like dontaesboxingnations always says...u can protect/hype fighters all u want, but u cant make them better fighters..and a guy like johnson is all david needs to wither and lose it all..get the most money while he can bc a johnson fight is not even guaranteed to make HBO..especially since they already delcine david vs ndam...and they delince gggvsjohnson...

160 is just ready to be fed to ggg simple as that..should be easy to unify and go undisputed, but i'd be much more impressed if he beat the likes of andre ward..bc lets face it all the champion at 160 have onced been ko'd/stopped...and the lineal is a former 140 champ..

                Lemieux K.O. % = 31/36 = .8611111 (31 K.O. out of 36 total fights) 86.1%

                GGG K.O. % = 30/33 = .90909090 (30 K.O. out of 33 total fights) 90.9 %

                .909090 > .861111 Therefore, GGG has a better K.O. percentage than Lemieux.

Correct my math if you find an error. Please.

they only way that he isnt running before the first round is over is if ggg doesnt pump his jab and is coached horribly

if ggg lets this fight go rounds he is a bit of a joke imo..david has no answer for a jab..

Hell yea this match up is going to be one to remember. Lemeuix has improved stamina and punch out put since his 2 losses. Hungrier than ever, has a strap, and wants to prove a point. I love fights like this.
