It's not like Povetkin hasn't looked like **** before either. I have Wilder in the fight, I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed.
Wilder is just a terrible matchup for Sasha. Just so long, fast, and mobile compared to Povetkin. At the very least Sasha is going to have to take some serious punishment to get close enough to do any damage on Wilder. I have Wilder by stoppage around rounds 8-9.

They deff tryin to get Wilder more experience in the ring before throwing him in again Povetkin and I can't say I blame them. 1 x 12 round fights and 30+ 4 rounds or less fights are not enough experience. I give the BB a chance to win regardless though because he has that lights out power.

povetkin is shorter but hes thicker and at least as heavy as wilder. povetkin has thick legs unlike wilder's stilts. not sure why so many people think wilder is too big for povetkin. ridiculous. id be very surprised if wilder would be able to hold off povetkin for 12 rounds unless he lands a huge bomb early. povetkin kept getting up after wlads shots so I have my doubts that wilder could keep him down. bad styles fight for wilder imo

I'd usually jump all over this but Wilder is a cool dude, the man is a warrior (inside and outside the ring). This has nothing to do with him ducking, that's not in his nature. Trust me. It has to be business reasons and I respect that. WAR WILDER!!!!!!!! I love you bro!!

are you kidding me? povetkin is actually faster on his feet than wilder. wilder looks like hes fighting on stilts. povetkin would have no problem cutting the ring off and chopping down wilder. wilder has nothing more than a punchers chance and hed have to do it early

Yep, like most of the others here, I am stunned!

I have to go an lie down to let it sink in what I've just heard...

You mean to tell me Wilder will NOT be facing Povetkin?

X-lotto could only have been less predictable!

Hype jobs like Wilder makes it very difficult for me to support any American boxer today, American boxing today is an entertainment not a sport.

Not surprised at all. Many of us called this kind of behaviour prior to the Stiverne fight.

Back to form for Deontay - bum after bum.

Well, if he's such a 'terrible' match up for Povetkin, why are he and his team doing everything possible to avoid the fight?

Wilder is a con. Thank god we have the TRUE champion of the division (Wladimir) fighting all comers.

Didn't you also "call" that he would get knocked out by Stiverne?

Wladimir fights his share of bums. He went on a run of Mormeck, Thompson II and Pianeta.
