Considering Kovalev killed someone in the ring do you find him distasteful?

Kovalev wouldn't exactly get far in this sport if he was beating himself up about a past tragedy. You say your piece, gain your repentance, and keep things moving. Just because he doesn't act remorseful now, doesn't mean he didn't at some point.
What bothers people is that he openly talks about fucking people up in the ring, despite having something like that in his past.

what attitude do yall want him to have?

this is boxing, if you go into a fight holding back cuz you're afraid you're gonna hurt someone than you're gonna get ****ed up

considering your favorite fighter is pacquiao you should realise its possible to be a decent human being and still be an offensive beast betwen the ropes

He hasn't done anything wrong but he can choose his words carefully if he wants to be respected among his peers and the boxing community. Considering a Boxer did pass away at his hands, i don't think he should be going around saying he intentionally wanted to break this guys nose or seriously hurt him etc...that is distasteful.

He could be more careful with his vocabulary, considering what happened in the past. Maybe sometimes things get lost/distorted in the Russian-English translation too.

Keep in mind that he kept fighting after the tragedy; when choosing so, he has to enter the ring with mean intentions each time, or he will end up getting hurt himself. Also, Kovalev did show remorse to Simakov's family, he visited his parents and apologized, donated some cash I believe.

oh c'mon, a broken nose is par for the course in boxing. wanting to bust someone's nose is hardly the same as wanting to end their life

Him and Stevenson... jeez 175 is like scumbag central right now

Ward will teach these guys a lesson in humility
Well, lets have Ward move up then.

Personally I like the mean streak in Kovalev although he shouldn't talk so much about breaking noses etc.

Why don't you actually look at how he reacted to the man who died after their fight? Kovalev isn't actually trying to ****ing killing anyone. It's a gimmick.
