Cotto is a KO loss away from retirement which is looking like it is coming soon. His best wins are against past prime or B level fighters (contenders or journeymen) and lost every big opportunity (Mayweather/Pac) with loses no one expected (Margarito/Trout) to mediocre fighters. In that view Donaire has a better resume than Cotto.

Ward has been to inactive and best wins are from 5 years ago! Also 5 (2 possibly HOF fighters) doesn't equate to Hopkins.
Yeah. My hope is that they assumed he was retired.

        Cotto has fought everybody.

His resume is the closest to Floyd's and Manny's.

BHop is already a legend with better overall resume than Floyd and Manny imo.

Nah. Hopkins has a better resume than Manny and Floyd.

This thread is about who is closest after them.

Oscar Dela hoya, everyone doesn't come close, although he lost most of his competitive fights, still it's astounding, that this guy's resume boasts a prolific list of great fighters from old school up to the modern era greats.

              hell no not garcia.

JMM for his wins but from a while ago. Hell Hopkins for a while ago if you are talking career resumes of active fighters.

But for recent resumes, ward and wlad.
              Wlad?

              You gotta be kidding.

HW has been **** since Lewis hung em up.

How can Wlad have a best resume?

Well couniting top 10 contenders only, meaning not RJJ. I would say hands down Bernard Hopkins.

                Johnson
                Tarver
                Pavlik
                Wright
                Pascal
                Cloud
                Trinidad
                De La Hoya

Losses: Kovalev, Dawson, Calzaghe, Taylor 2x, Jones.

Then he has 7 losses with none of them being KO's and 3 of those losses being disputed.

It looks like OP was assuming that Mayweather and Pacquiao were #1 and #2. Didn't look to me as if OP was just omitting Hopkins because he is supposedly so great. Maybe now he'd backtrack and say that. But it looks like Hopkins was ommited by mistake.

Bradley IMO has the best resume below the very top tier guys. I dont know why hes so unheralded around here, guy has given us every fight we have asked for, and won most of them.

I'd put Marquez right there too. Besides them I don't think anyone is even close.

Bhop resume is as good as PAC or floyd, honestly it's probably a lot better.
