Good pick, difficult to argue with but Hopkins has Jones, Tarver, Pavlik, Pascal, Tito and Oscar on his too.

Canelo is starting to create a good one too, Mayweather, Trout, Lara are top names.

I'd mention Khan, fights against Barrera, Maidana, Garcia, Peterson, Judah, Paulie, Alexander, all former or current champs when he fought them.

I've never understood this, his two big names are Kessler and Froch, who else? surely Dawson at SMW doesn't count, so who then? Abraham maybe...there is literally no one else worthy of mention.

Froch, JMM and hopkins have a very very underrated resume.

Dawson counts... at that point he was very game. And he wanted that weight.
Abraham and Bika at the point where Ward fought them count too.
But the point is, tell me a fighter who - if we are talking about the best resumes today has an obviously better resume than Ward other than Pacquiao, Mayweather, JMM, Hopkins and RJJ?

I can't even name a fighter other than those who can obviously top Ward's wins over Kessler and Froch.
Canelo is making a case with Lara and Trout, but I think Ward's wins better.
Bradley is making a case with wins over Alexander, Peterson and JMM but he has loss or losses (two Pac fights) too. SO I give the nod to Ward here too.
Wladimir Klitschko makes a case but I think his best wins wasn't against fighters who are at high level as Froch or Kessler.

Froch isn't an active fighter though... That's why he doesn't count.

Floyd Mayweather was already 35 years old when Cotto fought him, not really at his pinnacle.
