Who the heck said that? At his age, I don't pick him to win against many anymore. Times we have to accept the little great guys are getting old in weight classes they don't truly belong.
Remove Broner from that list and you may be right. But to suggest the Marquez only does well against flat-flooted brawlers shows how little you know about boxing. Prime Manny had some of the fastest feet ever, yet JMM kept up with him well. Brook and Porter present problems because they're much bigger than JMM and in their primes. Nothing more, nothing less.
The thing is Marquez does good against aggressive offensive fighters, not aggressive defensive fighters. Its well known Marquez sucks coming forward. His style is firmly adjusted to fighting Pacquiao that it rarely works on anyone else. That's why Marquez is very careful about who he fights(cherrypicking). The only reason he fought Bradley was because he thought he was better than Pacq overall(arrogant). When in fact he didn't realize what he was getting himself into and got embarrassed because of it.
