Yes it's wack. Gennady Golovkin won an interim title vs. some bum named Milton Nunez (he's currently ranked #294 at MW-BoxRec). He was awarded the regular title without earning it in the ring when the WBA elevated their regular champ to super champ. Then he was again awarded the super title without earning it in the ring when the WBA stripped the super champ.

Gennady Ducklovkin. A career built on fraud, deceit, and handouts. What a POS!

I guess its a good job he's fighting for a world title (the IBF belt) in the ring next, then?

Funny thing is he's started his WBC reign as interim champion as well. Beat some guy that Pavlik forced to cry and quit in his corner years back. He'll probably be awarded the full title without earning it in the ring as well because the guy that currently holds it is a blown up JMW fighting at MW.

IBF belt? That's a good joke. A paper title if there's ever been one. Sam Soliman -> Jermain Taylor -> Vacant -> David Lemieux. What a lineage! David Lemieux. The same guy that was punched out by Rubio and outboxed by Alcine. Two C class fighters at best.

The MW division is trash. It's too bad Golovkin lied to the fans when he stated he was willing to take on all comers from 154 to 168. It's too bad he didn't tell us that he planned catchweight excuses when a real formidable challenge presented itself.

Gennady Golovkin is a microcosm of how far this sport has fallen. Money hungry cowards afraid to fight the best. Diva demands. Golovkin wouldn't last in the eras past. Those guys fought everyone in front of them.

Sulaiman has no problems taking sanctioning fees against fighters who went 3-3 in their last 6.

Mayweather would fight whoever the hell he wanted even if Sulaiman disapproved.
