Is there something wrong with the fight? It's a very solid fight. "Great" is Mayweather vs Pacquiao, although that turned out to be a stinker, but this is a unification bout which is always great to see happen. One step closer to a single champion (something fans typically hope for).

Lemieux is coming off a couple good wins, he's looked good picking up a title and he's created a bit of a buzz. Sure Golovkin is a big favorite but that has more to do with how good people believe Golovkin is, not an indication it's a crappy fight. There isn't another middleweight in the world who would be a 14-1 favorite over Lemieux (would Cotto even be favored? Would Quillin or Andy Lee be huge favorites?) That of course isn't to say Lemieux is some great fighter, of course we still don't know if he's the same guy that lost to Rubio when he was 22 years old or whatever, or if he's legitimately improved. No matter what the case, at the very least the guy has legit power so there's always that. The important thing here is it's a unification match and a fairly big fight that has huge ramifications (a GGG win will put him in prime position for Canelo/Cotto and a Lemieux win would change the entire landscape of a couple weight classes to say the least).

All in all, this is a very interesting fight that screams high entertainment on paper.

It's also a little refreshing to see this fight actually being made since too often guys win a first title and then fight soft touches for a while before fighting someone good again, which seemed was where Lemieux was headed based off Gomez and Oscars comments talking about Lemieux fighting a couple times before Golovkin. Really glad they came together.

On topic, Rosado is right. Only a certain group of people will see it any other way.

Boxing "Fans' don't want to see fights because they don't make financial sense, the person that's calling out a certain fighter even though he's ranked highly, even though he could potentially make things interesting, even though it's a fight a lot of people want to see... "he's not a draw".

The Rams playing the Jaguars in the SuperBowl doesn't make financial sense but none of that matters... The two best teams play for the trophy PERIOD! Boxing is the only sport where it's acceptable for a mini Super Bowl to not happen because it's not going to make as much money as other SuperBowl's have or a potential SuperBowl could if you push the team who deserves to be there to the side and just let the Cowboys play instead. It's acceptable because fans accept it... not just casuals... even the supposed "hardcore fans" who post on forums just like NSB it's ridiculous.

Mister 164 is not saving Ward....you know that bro!!...Ward moving up saves Mister 164 from the pressure of making a Ward fight happen....Krusher has been appointed as the bodyguard to save Mister 164 from ****ing with Ward...you know that as well my ninja

Gabby is a boxing fan as well...he follows the sport just like we do so I think whatever he has to say carries some weight....I can understand your anti Ward point of view but let's not over do it...Everything Gabby said was correct

Lemieux is a unification bout, that is a priority. Not sure how Golovkin can get criticized for attempting to unify his own division versus moving up a weight class to fight for shits & giggles.

Boxing fans always sh it on fighters for avoiding mandatories, not attempting to unify, not fighting the best in their division, etc. And here is Golovkin, trying to unify and trying to beat all the best fighters in his division. But no, before he can even get a chance to do that some fans want him to move up immediately and fight Ward, and lets be perfectly honest, the only reason some people want this fight right now is they think Golovkin might lose that fight. I'm sure that's a far better alternative in their minds versus watching Golovkin knockout their favorite fighters (Canelo, Cotto).

I just assumed that was why you were spazzing out. Repeating words is a symptom of a concussion by PR sensei masters.
Now when have I criticized the GGG-Lemieux fight? I haven't cuz I actually like that fight. I have no problem with it.

Pr sensei masters??? that has nothing to do with the topic. Stay on it.

Since you bring up my karate everytime... have you done anything of the sort? (boxing, mma etc)?

GGG couldn't KO that glorified bum.

Starts the interview saying Ward shouldn't have to move down, then finishes saying Ward will outmuscle Golovkin. Gabe skips the part where Ward said he'd move down to 160 for Floyd. When Ward has something to bring to the table then they can talk 168, same logic Ward's using for Kovalev.
