Yes, that is what Kov is going to do since he resigned with HBO after pulling out of the purse bid. He could've had the shot he wanted for far more money. Lets not blame Stevenson for Kov's decisions.

In 2015 Kov moved away from the fight when he removed himself from the purse bid.

What I like about Stevenson/Kovalev/Beterbiev is that any of those guys against each other almost guarantees a stoppage/KO. Great fights, I think Kovalev will be the last man standing.

Stevenson has a showtime deal and HBO has banned Haymon fighters unless the "price is right". SO the fight can't be on HbO either. So it's either a joint PPV or a purse bid and let the highest bidder get the fight.

Stevenson is entitled to earn the max amount for his services. If Kov gives up his right to do so, I don't think Stevenson is obligated to do same. Again, Kov would make more on PBC.

Even so it's better than anyone Stevenson has fought since leaving HBO, unless you feel Stevenson is much worse so those bum fights are more competitive.

Well apparently they can split 50/50 on HBO. Last time Kov fought a Canadian on HBO they split 6m, and it wasnt even a unification. Stevenson is not maximizing his money fighting Karpency or Bika, surely you recognize that.

A Stevenson backer has no right accusing others of fighting bums.
