Imagine GGG says yes to Hopkins at 168 after requesting 164 for Ward. All these guys are playing chess with GGG and backing him into a corner.

Ok. So he didn't say that he would do it, just that he wants to do it. That's a pretty fine distinction your'e drawing there.

Maybe we can agree that whatever Andre said about Klitschko and moving up to HW shouldn't be taken seriously, and neither should what GGG said about fighting BHop at 175. Or what BHop said about fighting GGG at 160.

"Imagine" is the key word here.

People who don't like GGG are backing him into imaginary corners in their own heads by posting comments on a boxing forum.

Meanwhile, in the real world .....

cotto beat canelo..cotto vacates wbc likely retires unless he's fighting floyd, manny, or marquez at 154/155...GGG junkies and ggg himself will not have to accept any backlash when ggg shows u that he doesnt give a flying saucer about that vacant wbc belt..they wont let cotto vacate without crying about it in interviews u watch..they'll fight for the belt bc it will be vs a c level fighter bc that is wat they do..but we know wat they want...

hopefully garcia makes quick work of paulie..and al can put garciakhan2 in nyc barclay on oct 17....that would screw with golden boy and k2 so hard lol

like it or not garcia is the man at barclay's and everybody wasnt garciakhan2...much more even match than david "can he take the punch" lemieux...especially since we seen him take no other power punchers punch well..ppv lol smh

Another Haymon cocksucker pretending to be a boxing fan. They get a bigger buzz thinking about Haymon screwing up another promoters show than anything that happens in the ring.

i want this show screwed bc of the BS ppv model..i pay for hbo and i deserve to see this nonworhty ppv fight for free...they are screw me over so that night i hope al give me a great show that i can watch for free..

putting roman on the undercard vs cab driver is not enough either..if u know boxing ggg vs david is a mismatch..the fight will be clearly in the bag and head for stoppage in 3 rounds if ggg uses his jab..

Bhop is a big name in boxing though, Ward isn't Bhop still likely would be A-side over Golovkin. Ward isn't.

Makes perfect sense. Fighting a guy who fights in 2 divisions above...

Hopkins is doing the same old two step that's kept him relevant after the Jermain Taylor loses. He's navigated his way theough the light heavyweight division trying to pounce on the right guys at the right time. And just like he did after the Calzage loss, he's gonna try and pounce on a red hot middleweight like he did with Pavlik. That was a very long time ago and he's not the same fighter. That said, I hope GGG doesn't take the bait. Even though I think Gennady beats him and I totally despise GGG's fanbase. I'd hate to see Nard ruin GGG the way he did Pavlik.
