I don't think Karpency has much of a chance, I just find it hard to understand why this fight is being compared to Salka-Garcia. Salka was rated around #75 at LW and moved up two weight classes to fight Garcia. Karpency isn't moving up in weight and is at worst a top-20 LHW. How are those two situations comparable?

Earlier I read Dan Rafael comparing Karpency to Mohammedi and stating that Mohammedi is an A+ opponent in comparison. Based on what? Outside of an HBO ***** up the ass of most of these asslickers.

I just watched Karpency fight "Sad" Chad and Fonfara. The problems I see is that he has no jab to speak of, especially when he fought the Pole, and he fights with his hands at his waist way to much. And what was up with that weird a$$ stoppage in the Fonfara fight?

The guy has never fought anyone good anyway. A shot Dawson is not a great win.
He's a nobody, and he can shove that lineal title up his azz cause we all know who the real champ at 175 is.

Not kidding; Karpency is a farmer from Pennsylvania.

                  Come on man......

This guy is a tin can who has been fighting weaker tin cans. His last fight was against THIS GUY: Rayco Saunders 23-26-2, yeah this phukking guy.
Two fights before that, this Karpency bum was fighting against THIS joke: Dhafir Smith 27-24-7 and before that, THIS GUY again: Rayco Saunders 23-21-2

A SD win over Chad Dawson was in the middle of all that which goes to show you how shot to schit Dawson was when this joke fought him as well as when Duckingson and Ward fought him.

Golovkin got promoted from Regular to Super champion in 2013 when Geale gave up the title in order to face Mundine.

The WBA ordered Danny Jacobs and Fletcher to fight for the vacant WBA regular belt.

Fletcher was Golovkins mandatary in 2014 but only because there was no regular champion for him to fight, so he had to face the Super Champ. Golovkin chose to face Geale instead, and the WBA decided to have Jacobs and Fletcher fight for the title.

The situation at LHW is different because there are two WBA champions.

Which means the mandatory winner has to fight Braehmer before he fights Sergey.
Braehmer isn't going to leave Germany for a wba title defense, and I doubt that the WBA sees more value in Braehmer-Fonfara(wba) than they'd see in Kovalev-Fonfara(WBA). Again, I'm not all that informed about the WBA rules but Kovalev seems due for a WBA mandatory defense, with the only logical options being Braehmer(wba) or Fonfara/Cleverly winner (WBA #1 mandatory eliminator).
