Fat Dan is saying that the holdup is SHowtime wanting options should Floyd return for a 50th fight. I get that, but if Floyd fulfilled his contract, CBS/SHowtime should stay out of the way.

Just hope they work this out and announce the fight already. This is getting ridiculous.

Are you only allowed a 6 week training camp for Floyd? So if you want a 10 week training camp that is out of the question?

Casual fans that know nothing about boxing are always talking about Floyd fighting someone. GGG can stop being scared himself. He always says that he wants to unify the division, well he just announced a fight in October but before that there are three other 160 pound champions besides Cotto. Any of them will fight him. He can stop trying to fight a 147 pound fighter and a 154 pound fighter. He can fight someone in his actual weight class. Floyd will stay in his and fight. No need for Floyd to fight someone two weight classes higher. I do not know see anyone asking Manny to fight GGG when he was champion. Why not? They both fight at 147 but I already know that people are going to say that Manny is too small. Well, if Manny is too small then why is Floyd not? Stop with double standards people and learn the sport of boxing and how weight classes work.

"Personally I believe that it will be announced this week, possibly next week. But we're getting close," Espinoza told BoxingScene.com.

I can't stand the diva, but I'm 95% confident that his opponent knows and has signed a nda.

Floyds opponent probably does know already, as both GBP and Haymon are waiting for each other to announce there ppv first.

Shocker, right? I mean it's not like he would be negotiating with Floyd for the fight, right? He and his team would be on a message board, completely clueless.

I love how people jump on GGG's jock...When in actuality, he has yet to fight a credible opponent. And don't give me that BS about nobody wanting to fight him..The latest in the Andre Ward saga paints a completely different picture of GGG...
