    Garcia has the better resume

Canelo is more a product of hype. Garcia earned his spot

I agree that Canelo was a product of hype, but the kid has delivered since he reached the world class fights, whereas danny seems to have regressed since the lucas fight

I don't think Garcia has regressed any,he is just a very good fighter who will never appear that dominant as evidence by his close fights with Ashley Theophane and old man Morales.

I just think he has not looked good at all vs herrara and Peterson, and much better when he was fighting lucas, khan, morales, Judah

Yeah I'll agree somewhat about Garcia after the Matthysse fight.

I don't think Canelos delivered anything really, what has Canelo done since getting whitewashed by Mayweather

                - Beat down Angulo who hasn't looked the same since Lara, Angulo lost to DeLa Rosa and after Hunters comments about that fight how much credit should be given for that win.

                - Lara easily beat Canelo, Canelo gets props for facing him but Canelo didn't win that fight. There is no way he won 7 rounds while landing 1 significant head shot.

                - Beating Kirkland without Wolfe who had like 2 fights in like 3 1/2 years.

How is that stepping up and delivering?

I'm a Canelo hater but I love the attitude Canelo has and honestly feel that he is chasing greatness plus he's an exciting fighter to watch but don't think he's as good as the hype and is more of a product of careful match making.

Danny has a good resume!! Only lame opponent he's had was Salka. And now Paulie but Malignaggi is a former champ but he's past it now.

He fought him right after Lopez KOed Victor Ortiz, he had to fight him Lopez earned his shot and Ortiz was trying to mend his career obviously it didn't work out for him but yeah tarring Lopez with the same brush as Salka, no ****ing way.

I think some of that has to with him draining to make weight.I also think some peoples expectations rose a bit too high after his victory over Matthysse. If you remember correctly he didn't look that impressive before he was able to time a shot on Khan, and Judah actually busted him up a bit down the stretch.Like I said he never has and never will appear to be that dominant,he is more of a solid fighter in a lot of facets rather than spectacular in any particular area.
