How many of you would pay $9.99 a month for a boxing channel?

I didn't even know ESPN Classic was canceled.

They did use to show a lot of fights...and Cheap Seats re-runs.

I still get the ESPN Classic channel on my cable package.

However, I got to watch Ward on Bet. LOL.

I think I didn't notice it because most of what I watch is HD and that's not an option. My previous cable package was so expensive though.

A Boxing Channel would FAIL because boxing has absolute **** Fans! WWE has more loyal fans than Boxing which is really sad that more people are dedicated to something FAKE than they are something real

ESPN Classic was basically a Boxing Channel and nobody watched so ESPN got rid of it

But they can do something like NFL or MLB channel. Show old fights, recent fights, and boxing movies to make it somewhat worth it. Yes i know things need to be worked out (rights, royalties, and crap if any) but it may work.

I'm assuming if anyone could do it with all the money he has it could be Haymon. He seems to building toward a UFC type model with his roster of fighters.
Throw in some contender type programming, old fights, documentaries etc and I think it could work.

That seems like a high estimate, especially early on.

Agree I was just throwing out some reachable numbers imo. I think 300k would be attainable within the first year & 1M within 2-3yrs probably.

I can't see the money being there. They need sponsors and to pay staff.
Hard thing for a fringe sport. NFL is making big bank.

Can you imagine one channel showing every title fight from every weight division? That'd be ***in awesome.
