If he would have paid closer attention to Broner's close fights with Ponce and Paulie he wouldn't have allocated all those resources towards him in the first place.

He doesn't have a star because the fighters he tried to build just didn't have it in them.

Didn't Haymon just sign Beterbiev this year?

Not sure that's really from scratch, given that Beterbiev was signed with Anna Reva and Yvon Michel when he turned pro.

I don't want to see Haymon BUILD anything. I want to see Fighter separate themselves from the pack and become stars on their own on this PBC Platform Organically. I think that has been his problem, guys like Broner, Danny Garcia, Quillin all got anointed early and neither is living up to that Hype.

He has a ton of young hungry Lions who want that TV time to impress and become stars themselves. I would start unleashing them. I think they will use Bounce TV to showcase the young prospects and I think that will be a lot more entertaining rather than watching guys STRUGGLE to live up to the hype and then make excuses every time they don't live up to the hype. Stop giving Quillin and Wilder TV Time if they're not going to challenge themselves! One of these Networks need to be use for these guys to go fight their Softball Challenges on! Maybe Fox Sports 1 can be that Network or something

His Roster is Loaded, the problem is getting them to fight each other. Remember he works with Multiple Promoters so they still have a say in who their fighter fights, Haymon can't just force guys to fight each other, I'm pretty sure that is Illegal in Boxing as well They're not your ****** you don't own them, the very much so have a say in who they want to fight! It is just some guys want to comfort of Haymon's Power and want to play it safe because they're afraid if they lose the money will stop

except broner was built into who he is today by HBO. HBO made him a cross over star.

I agree. I think Haymon has put his fighters in great situations to succeed but In the end the fighters have to perform. It seems like it's one step forward and two steps back.

Danny Garcia has this great with against Matthysse, he's on the verge of superstardom and then the Herrera fight happens. That fight with Herrera was set up for Danny to succeed. He was fighting in Puerto Rico, he was the headliner and he didn't deliver. Then he has to go back and rebuild with Salka. Then he fights Peterson and looks bad in that fight as well.

Broner will have to go through a rebuilding process again because he came up short.

Even Keith Thurman has had his fair share of uninspiring performances. His last 4 fights weren't exactly spectacular.

He did build a star in his first fighter, although over looked by most Vernon Forrest was a monster and during his prime often looked unbeatable; heavy hands, fast and great boxing skills... Unfortunately we don't know how he would have fared in this time of welterweights and junior middleweights.

Let's be honest here, everyone was intimidated by him after the DeMarco and Rees fights. Those fights completely overshadowed the Ponce fight.

Well, that didn't happen so this is a pointless argument. Also, I'm interested in seeing since when has Haymon been working with Floyd.

Anyways, Al will probably get his "built from scratch superstar" if Spence lives up to the hype.
