You want to call out the ones who predict it wrong after the fight is done or what? What's the meaning of "public polls"?
If somebody really wants to tell his opinion than he will, as I did and others did too in this thread. If somebody doesn't want to word it then he won't. So I don't know what plus information you gain if it's a public poll.
    Talk to BPP about it

Do you have other than this salty, annoyed "answer"? I have no moral problems with it I asked you a simple question. Why is it important to you to be public? What do you gain from that? If you can't answer normally then don't answer or tell that you have no answer.

Kovalev by KO. Ward simply doesnt have enough power to keep him of.
Ward doesnt have hopkins chin. he is getting hurt eventually.

it boggles my mind that people dont want to see ggg vs ward. its the best fight there is to make in boxing right now why cant we have both? people mention canelo and cotto but ggg was trying to fight froch in his next fight so that argument kinda gets thrown out the window. im afraid ggg fans dont want to see ggg ward where as ward fans would love to see ward kovalev. such a shame we may miss out on the best possible fight boxing has to offer

Ha ha why do you guys never learn????!!!!

NSB falls in love with punchers and have no ability to see beyond that power.

This shiz just gets boring...Lacy, Cintron, Miranda, Abraham, Maidana, Matthysse, the list goes on, and yes I have been here that long. There always has to be a boogie man out there, and Im not saying that some of these guys are not good fighters, or had good careers but some of the things said about them on here just because they have serious KO power and some pedigree is laughable looking back.

Kovalev is a really good fighter and he has a chance against Ward, but only a punchers chance. He will get beat to the punch 8 or 9 times out of 10. He will get buzzed by Ward plenty of times as a result, and unless he can land something big he will get outclassed just like every other Ward opponent. I also think Ward is not getting in the ring with any of these Eastern European guys without olympic style drug testing.

I don't think Kovalev is just a puncher. He's dynamically always shifting his punches and hiding them. You'll notice how he drags a lot of his opponents in his fights from behind the head which shows his amateur background and those subconsciously ingrained subtle defensive tactics. Not to mention, he actually is equipped with enough speed to pullback and counter punch. Hopkins is very technically savvy, and had absolutely 0 answers on how to get in and actually do anything. That says a lot when a veteran fighter with absolutely no way to trick his way inside against Kovalev considering it was even played out a chess match( I mean Kovalev displayed patience and it lasted the 12).
Blame Hopkins age, this or that. But again, I saw the same Hopkins the beat all the other LHWs, Cloud, Pascal. I don't think Ward lasts. I mean Rodriguez gave him 12 with his wack physicality. I think Kovalev cuts his head off real smoothly and with ease. To be honest, I wouldn't even rank Ward to be of a superior boxer in all seriousness. He's good, but I mean, I didn't really see much in the super 6. Froch imo sucks(just an exciting type of fighter). Some can say a 168 Chad Dawson would probably be his best fight. He looked spectacular, but I don't think of Dawson to be of much talent either. Superman vs Ward would be more competitive, just using that broken Dawson fight as a level to measure 'em. The grabbing tactics aren't going to last. You can seriously see how Rodriguez ( low level boxer) seems to handle breaking out of them just with physicality which gave Ward a long night. Kovalev, too smart, too big for Ward. I think people overlook Kovalev just because of his power. He threw more solar plexus shots against pascal than I've seen probably the likes of Mayweather do.
Patient, smart, his corner, John David Jackson, is on top of the game as well.

I dont think Ward will be man enough to fight Kovalev, if this fight happens then only if Kovalev can meet all the Divas demands but even then i see Kovalev knocking out Ward. Boy got dropped by Boone and the way he usually wins fights is by outhustling, clinching, holding the opponents so he cant punch and trying to punch at the same time, usually head first or forearm first. But he cant clinch for 12 full rounds, Kovalev will push Ward away and punish him alot, make him quit or totally knock him out.

I heard it called "tactical clinching" today.

Makes it sound so much better, huh?

Ward gets KTFO. HE tries to tie Kovalev up and fight dirty on the inside but Kovalev throws him to the canvas early to let him know that crap isn't going to fly. WArd continues to fight dirty and Kovalev makes it a point to complain to the ref often. When Kovalev gets no help, he gets pissed off and shoves Ward against the ropes and drops him with a jab to the stomach.

Ward rises and Killa Kov pounces on him and attacks with impunity until Ward gets caught flush with a right and is knocked out cold in the 3rd rd.
