I would say Broner beat the caliber of fighters that Jeff and Sr. lost to.

To me, it seems Broner is not really applying himself anymore. I don't know if the money got to him or just the flashy lifesyle. When he is broke and really need to fight, it's going to be too late.

He just needs a new trainer and a more mature state of mind. He actually needs to worry bout somethin rather that ain't got worry bout nothin. He's still young and has good natural ability and has a bit of power. Most fighters would have got blasted out when he fought maidana but he actually came back fairly strong. His ****y attitude and flashiness is a mirror image of a lot of the music he listens to and the culture he comes from. So a lot of the trash talking on here I feel has a tinge of racism and prejudice.

I blame HBO... for protecting "talented" fighters.. over paying them for scrub fights.. so when they're put in front of higher caliber fighters.. they're simply not ready, or exposed..

Broner is a closet weight lifter. His arms are unnatural and his shirts are too tight. Definition is good, bulk slows you down. He's gone from a 130 lb speeder to a 150 lb plodder and he hasn't grown an inch.

and this is why we got to see Floyd vs Maidana. Maidana exposed Berto, I mean Broner. We all saw this. Its about time that Floyd's own people are now calling the Maidana selection a cherry pick(if you read between the lines).

A cherry pick that almost went wrong ...... but the Vegas team came thru for Floyd, AGAIN!

Who is the best name on Broner's resume? A faded Malignaggi?

I don't think people realise how much Broner has been molly cuddled and that it is not appropriate to compare him to boxers who had less luxuries than him.

When you get paid handsomely for your work, you have less external factors interrupting your training schedule. When you are a crafted star, you get to fight when you are ready. When you have the advantage of modern day nutrition, you get to drain yourself down in weight in order to beat on much small fighters.

Broner had all the time and comfort needed to hone his craft and he still came up hort. Had his career started at 140lb, he would have been considered the next Andre Berto before being considered as the next Mayweather Jr.
