Lara is no joke but for me why come down to 154lbs when your opponent is bringing absolutely nothing to the table however for a guy like Cotto, Canelo or Floyd it makes sense because their huge fanbase.

they already said wont drop a single pound for a canelo fight, they will rather weight until canelo gets up to the full 160...
they can make 168 for froch or chavez but not ward, they can make 154 for floyd but not canelo, it is what it is...

Whereas Cotto IS the a-side with Golovkin, end of story.

Pac forced Cotto to put his welterweight title on the line, at catchweight.

You are dreaming if you think Cotto will take the back seat because of a mandate.

If Golovkin wants to fight Cotto, he will do whatever Cotto says.
