Actually, would Haymon allow any of his fighters to fight a non-Haymon fighter who doesn't resemble an overweight plumber or high school cafeteria chef? Or just a boxer who boxes full-time?

The only way to know if Haymon would allow the fight is GGG acepting the fight and move the ball to Haymond's side. Instead GGG trainer admit he didn't allow the fight

Agreed. Lara is so overrated. Lmfao. The man's chin is STRAIGHT GLASS. He couldn't even outbox the plodding 154lb Canelo. What could he possibly do against a 160lb fighter that's better in EVERY department x2 then Canelo, in GGG?

Have you been boycotting Ward's last couple of fights?

When Ward rejected fights with Bute & Stevenson, they looked like killers.
When Ward tried to make fights with Pavlik & Chavez they looked washed up.

I like triple G but how is it that two boxers want to fight you (Mora and Lara) but yet they have done nothing in their eyes but have fought every other no name fighter. They want Ward at a CW but was willing to fight Froch and Chavez at 168. Looks like they recognize that Ward is talented and have to handicap him some what and the other two guys will be an ugly fight even if he wins.

No fight was turned down because no fight was offered. Loeffler presented names as possible opponents and they were shot down with valid reasoning behind it.

Is Lara's resume really that good? His best win is Austin Trout... He has stepped in with better fighters but has lost. 2 losses and 2 draws. He is a good fighter but is being really overrated. I respect him for wanting to fight the best. But how he fought in the Canelo fight was embarrassing.

Look. We all know the truth at this point. No need for anymore questions about Lara or Ward. They are looking for low risk/high reward only fights right now. The myth of being ducked has been destroyed as Lara and Ward are both willing and able and he now has fought Murray, Geale and likely Lemieux in the fall. Now just sit back and let the process play out.

Hopefully the Lemieux fight gets finalized in October. That will be one step closer towards getting all of the belts but still leaves a lot of unanswered questions about his opposition.

Once that happens, we will see what happens with the WBC mandatory situation.
