So Sanchez clearly stated that he turned down Lara!!!... Now they better have that Lemieux fight secured -- at least it's for the IBF belt...

... But GGG will have to fight Lara immediately after Lemieux!... Lara is a good Cuban stylist and he's much cleaner than Ward... I thought Haymon didn't approve the fight, but instead it was Sanchez, doe...

If Golovkin is able to beat Lara convincingly, it would represent the perfect leverage in a possible future Canelo fight...

Abel is full of it. It sounds like he's sacred of a challenge for GGG. He said Lara has done nothing look at his resume. You know he's full of bs what the hell has willlie Monroe Jr done ? Not a dam thing.

The Lara vs GGG is a possibility even tho they are on two different networks. If that wasn't possible Tom would have never brought the possibility to Sanchez. He doesn't want GGG to fight a slick style difficult boxer. He admitted he turned the fight down. A win is a win if Lara fought bums like GGG I'm sure he'd have a high ko percentage. But Lara rather fight the best of the best. First they said they'll fight anyone from 155-175 they stay at 160 where it's trash then they say no one wants to fight GGG then they two fighters call him out I can't wait for Ward to put a boxing clinic on GGG's face

I said it above: I didn't think that Haymon would let Lara fight GGG, but now I find out that it was Sanchez who blocked the fight!... And I even rate Lara as being "slicker" than Ward... Ward uses dirty and illegal techniques that Lara doesn't ever use...

It didn't even cross my mind that they turned Lara down in order to fight a bum... and (on top of it) also to make public the fact that they turned Lara down... it would have been sheer idiocy...

Sanchez blatantly admits avoiding Lara and the fanboys come up with all types of **** still.

It's amusing to me how GGG does no wrong in the eyes of his fanbase. Lol

Agreed. I was ready to boycott a Heiland or Tureano Johnson fight regardless.

The way Lemieux manhandled N'Dam & Rosado makes him a legit fight. A Lara fight would've been interesting in how Golovkin would hunt him down, but there wouldn't be much question in the outcome. Lara's last 3 fights have been stinkfests by his doing. I think N'Dam right now would make for a slightly better fight than Lara.
