... Look again, genius: Golovkin came at 170 in the fight night against Monroe... While Ward was 172 at the weigh in... Now, figure out for yourself...

Ward has never been a fighter to boil down a ton of weight. lolComment

Me saying Ward gained as much weight as Kovalev from the same period of time is every bit as legit as you claiming Ward is still at that same weight from 3 years ago. In fact you just supported my claim when you pointed out Ward needed to shed his excess weight from a long layoff. Holding a higher weight for a longer period of time means his body is more likely to rebound to a higher weight on fight night.
It's been fun, got to love how Ward fans jump at this stuff given his long track record of delusional hypocrisy but it's become moot for me. Ward will go back to BET vs SMW's who aren't even in the top 15. He'll likely never return to the status he had following the S6, which was setup in his favor to begin with, and retire without fighting Kovalev because the money ain't right.Comment

So I guess GGG is also a diva even though he hasn't accomplished anything in the sport. At least Cotto has fought the best and has had an actual career.
What will his fan girls have to say now?Comment

Do you have evidence that Ward was in the 170's? All you got is the Dawson fight....
A Ward fan just said Ward wanted to fight at 172 - to see how his body would respond and not have to stress over making weight after such a long layoff.
So what is it? Does this guy need to drop alot of weight or what?
Ward and his team thought one thing, yet once he was in camp working, those concerns were found to be for not.Comment

Here's some more evidence for you. 2 and half weeks before the Smith fight he weighed 173.4.

No, of course not.....all that was taken out of context or something right?Comment

GGG stuck between a rock (Lemeuix) and a very hard place (Ward) . He has no other options for his next fight so Lemeuix should either purse-drain his ass ( (70/30) or let him walk into the lions den (Ward)Comment

Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas - Abel Sanchez, trainer of WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin, has made it absolutely clear that he's not going to budge from his position that a potential fight with Andre Ward will only happen if Ward - the recognized champion at super middleweight - is wiling to meet them halfway at a catch-weight of 164-pounds.
Golovkin and his team received more than their fair share of heat in recent days, after placing a catch-weight demand on a potential fight with Ward. The reason for the heat, is because Golovkin was willing to fight both Carl Froch and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at the full super middleweight limit.
