    • Ward has the options of

      1. Fighting another Olympic gold medalist in a unification bout.
      2. Fighting Kovalev, who has expressed interest in the fight.
      3. Fighting a smaller, far less experienced/accomplished MW at a CW exactly halfway between them.
      4. Fighting nobody while he waits for the guy in #3 to finish taking care of business.

Which one do you think he's doing?

      #2 p4p doe.

The mental-Ward fans will enjoy Marco Antonio Periban on BET!!!
And Periban would still be a better win than any ggg has. I don't get ball gaggers like you. Don't you want to see if ggg really is good enough to beat a quality fighter

Me saying Ward gained as much weight as Kovalev from the same period of time is every bit as legit as you claiming Ward is still at that same weight from 3 years ago. In fact you just supported my claim when you pointed out Ward needed to shed his excess weight from a long layoff. Holding a higher weight for a longer period of time means his body is more likely to rebound to a higher weight on fight night.

It's been fun, got to love how Ward fans jump at this stuff given his long track record of delusional hypocrisy but it's become moot for me. Ward will go back to BET vs SMW's who aren't even in the top 15. He'll likely never return to the status he had following the S6, which was setup in his favor to begin with, and retire without fighting Kovalev because the money ain't right.

            • Ward only has one fight night weight listed, that was 3 years ago vs Dawson - Kovalev weighed 181lbs vs Silahk when Ward weighed 176lbs vs Dawson.

Don't claim Ward is only 5lbs away from Golovkin when you don't have anything to support that aside from a single fight. AND if he does only weigh 5lbs more and stays in the 170's - then 164 isn't going to weaken him that much.
Honest question, you ever try to lose weight when you're already lean? Team GGG wouldn't have asked for the weight stipulation if they didn't think it would provide them with some type of advantage.

Ward should just focus on moving up because it doesn't appear that GGG wants the fight.

              • I do agree Ward needs to shut the heck up if he's not gonna be active.... Atleast GGG is being active (albeit taxi drivers)

No, would you actually believe that somehow Ward is hoping that somehow team ggg starts actually believing in Gennady and makes this fight instead of just running their mouths

                  • Team Golovkin: We'll fight anyone from 154 to 168....except for Canelo, we won't fight him at 154. Oh and also Andre Ward. We'll only fight him at a catchweight.

But apart from those two anybody from 154 to 168 can get it!

No need to explain, it only works when it's in the favor of Ward or Floyd. White boy can't be the a-side, I honestly hate to play the race card but it's pretty obvious that's all this whole debate is about in the first place.

It's alright though because GGG hyped up or not is looking to fight another MW guy who has the ability to take him out, so there is no way to say that this is a cherry pick. There is NO ONE at MW who has the power that GGG does except Lemieux.

Ward....I dunno what he is going to do, especially as the b-side. I hope that all his supporters know that Killa Kov is gonna be after that ass like flies on shit if he wins on Sat night. He will be calling him out immediately after the fight in the post-fight interview. I can only hope Ward and Hunter don't have any excuses not to fight him next.
