Well if his age is accurate, he was 12 when that fight happened. Probably didn't even know who Floyd was and totally understandable that he did not remember Hymen being mentioned.

Haymon was Vernon Forrests manager way back when he first started out in boxing. I remember reading about it when Forrest died.

Lol some of you guys are douchbags, I was 12 and I remember watching it on ITV (terrestial channel). I knew who Floyd was but why the hell would I pay so much attention to who he's thanking at 11/12 years old? I know Al Haymon was involved heavily in the music industry but wasn't aware that he had a foot in boxing before hand.

I think Al Haymon helped Floyd buy out his contract from Bob Arum in 2006.

Haymon was Mayweather's Managers while he was with Top Rank. He was manager of the year also back in 2005 so Haymon been around for awhile but yeah I can understand while a lot of people on this forum think he is some new guy who is wasting money on PBC and doesn't know what he is doing. He was told his Concert Promotion wouldn't work either and he made it work. Him and Mayweather was also laughed at by Arum when they would make money Demands while with Arum and was told "You Will Never Make That Type Of Money In Boxing". Well Mayweather Career Earning Speak For Itself!
