Kathy is absolutely correct, fans are gonna watch Kovalev regardless but I'm glad she has had the balls to match Kova tough. Cleverly, Pascal, Hopkins all in the past 2 years...not too bad.

    I agree with this.

I doubt people care about his next opponent although mandatory, but I know for a fact it is KO in the waiting.

So..... Golovkin makes 154, at 33yo, despite never fighting there, EVER ?

And then..... he beats Mayweather, the best fighter on the planet.

Golovkin only needed a 4lb guarantee with Ward

That 6lbs would be an absolute killer.

No way would Golovkin be the same fighter at 154, no chance.

If Golovkin could make 154 and be healthy, he would obviously be fighting there.

    OBVIOUSLY !

No way would a one-legged Golovkin beat Mayweather at 154.

I prefer Lara as an opponent for Mayweather.

He is a better calibre opponent, a natural JMW, and he offers a more challenging style.

Floyd-Lara, not a mismatch and will never happen.

Floyd-Khan is a mismatch. Amir blows.
Floyd-Maidana is a mismatch, and he fought him twice.
    Floyd-Guerrero is a mismatch.
    Floyd-Ortiz is a mismatch.
    Floyd-Mosley is a mismatch.
I would bet my life that Mayweather would be the firm favorite if he were to fight Golovkin at 154.

    Bookies/insiders > casual fans.

He gets no credit since he won't take the fight.

Floyd v. Manny, Floyds the favorite
Floyd v. Cotto, Floyds the favorite
Floyd v. Lara, Floyds the favorite

Whoever he fights, he will be the favorite. You will view it as a "mismatch" regardless.

Na bro unlike ggg kovelo is a star because he beat two of the best boxer already in his Division and made stevenson run to showtime and and alhaymon ...when they was in the blink of having a super fight at 175....give credit where credit due[/QUOTE]

Ummm..... they blatantly ducked Stevenson, just as much as Stevenson blatantly ducked them..... lets keep it real.

I dont have Kovalev tarred with the same brush as Golovkin, but if Kovalev becomes CanCrusherII, I will completely lose interest in him as well.

    Abso-fkn-lutely !

As soon as Team Kovalev start doing the same thing that Team Golovkin are doing, then I will be done with Kovalev as well.
