Kovalev and GGG are exciting, but not as brutally exciting as Tyson was. Roy Jones jr was incredibly exciting in terms of his tricks and athleticism, which I had never seen before, not even from Ray Leonard, tho I'm not saying that Jones would have beaten Leonard.

and this is the problem front and center. i love watching ggg and kovalev as much as anyone but the reality is their promoters know they can put them in with anyone as long as the public perceives them as trying to fight the best. kovalev rose to fame by knocking out bums and pretending like he wanted to fight stevenson. i hate to be the one that says it but this is the problem with knock out artists their promoters know people will keep watching them even when their knocking out bums im starting to hate kathy duva

STFU with that nonsense. Kovalev rose to fame by wiping out better fighters than Stevenson and he wasn't the one who initially walked away. Whatever he did this year, back then Kovalev was ready to go and Stevenson walked away, so to pretend like Kovalev was never going to fight Stevenson is a lie, and so is claiming that he only knocked out bums.

Like i say, casuals want the mismatches to see KO's. NSB likes to say mismatches suck and this and that but she is right. Overmatched foes getting KO'd is what they want to see. Just look at GGG and how fast he is rising while fighting no one.
