Comments Thread For: Andrade's Team Working With WBO To Prevent Title Loss

Late last year it was announced that WBO junior middleweight titlist, Demetrius Andrade would be facing Jermell Charlo on December 13th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas as part of a Showtime broadcast. But Andrade pulled out of the fight because of his unhappiness over what he was receiving for that assignment.

If Andrade is trying to hold onto the belt, stop playing A-side/B-side/hardball with Mundine.

Andrade hasnt defended his belt in 13months, thats more than enough time. Hes done nothing but remove himself from competition within that 13 months too...strip him

Andrade took less money then Mundine for this fight and he was willing to fight Mundine in his home...so i don't think thats the issue troop!

It'd be awesome to see Andrade end up fighting Thompson and Thompson pulls off the upset.

Because Mundine is the one bringing the money to the table in the first place. In Australia Mundine is a draw, Andrade isn't a draw anywhere.

He should have been stripped along time ago.

Its amazing how some fighters get a pass. Andre Ward still has a WBA belt somehow.

Meanwhile guys like Sergio Martinez get stripped by the WBO.
