Whether you two like it or not, Lemieux is a world champion, and a very popular fighter, with a ton more fans than Andre Ward. He is also in the same division as GGG, which makes him a much more attractive option for Golovkin than Ward.

GGG wants to fight Lemieux before he fights Ward for the same reason Ward wants to fight Golovkin before he fights Kovalev. It's better for him doing it that way round.

Get of those drugs kid Lemieux is a B level fighter stop trying to talk him up , its another easy win thats why GGG wants it , he hasnt fought a real champion yet and is becoming a high class Butterbean knocking over soft touches , GGG is ducking Ward its as plain as day .

Ward isn't the best available fight for GGG. Lemieux is. He would get more money for fighting Lemieux, and another world title to add to his collection.

He would also have a better chance of beating Lemieux, who is a MW. GGG is a MW too, remember? And he hasn't ever fought any higher than 160 in his whole career.

Are you seriously going to shit on a fighter for not wanting to move up and fight the best in the world in a higher division, without any feel out fight first, when there is a bigger fight for him in his own division?
