Team GGG strategy is to get all belts at 160.
If a big money fight emerges south or north, take that fight.
If it doesn't emerge, it doesn't.

Ward isn't a big money fight for Golovkin; it is for Ward, who can't make money otherwise.

I think what happening right now is that Golovkin has gained popularity and wants to use it to his advantage against Ward. Last year or two, I think Golovkin would have gave in to Ward's demands if the fight were to happen. Golovkin as reported recently agreed to the fight 3 times and the bout did not happen.

Although, for the record, I do not support the idea of catchweights and Golovkin, like Cotto, wants to use his advantages.

So yes Golovkin isn't ducking anyone, so it seems, at least for now.
Uh, no Cravemen..... Golovkin just BLATANTLY ducked Ward.

      Keyword = BLATANTLY

There is no spin for the following fact.....

FACT: Golovkin was happy to fight Froch at 168, but he ducked Ward at 168.

Golovkin did not refuse to fight Ward, he ducked Ward by insisting upon a catchweight that was not required for Froch/Chavez.

Golovkin did not use a financial excuse, so why are you ?

The weight is the issue, not the finances..... so why are you supporting that blatant duck of Ande Ward when Golovkin was happy to fight Froch at 168?
I was answering a comment by someone else saying that GGG/Ward would be ppv this year, not making a financial excuse. GGG doesn't need an excuse not to move up when there is a bigger fight, with a title at stake, there for him in his own division.

I was saying that after GGG unifies with Lemieux, and Ward fights somebody more meaningful than Paul Smith, then, next year, GGG/Ward would be a ppv fight.

And if GGG can't get the winner of Cotto/Canelo without waiting another year for it then fighting Ward, at 168, would make sense for him. It wouldn't make sense now.

I know how badly you want to believe that GGG is blatently ducking Ward, for your own personal reasons, but that's your problem, not Golovkin's.

yes we understand. we've seen y'all spew the same rhetoric over and over. ward isn't worthy.

I simply can't wait til cotto and canelo give ggg the same treatment and fight other guys because you know, ggg isn't a big money fight for either of the two.

but I'm sure you're more than happy with the adamas, rosados and monroes of the world

It does, but then when I realize it is just a tease I calm down. Most of the energy in this thread is a pointless back and forth between groupies.

But harping on the same three year old quote is pure bullshit and you well know it. It is beneath you.
Ignorant? Uh..... Ok..... Froch & Chavez Jr at 168, but Ward at 164?

Or the fact you turned blind to what I have pointed out.

You Golovkin fans need to stop and think for a bit.

Listen, the " dey duckin me doe " excuse, will work for a year-or-so, maybe even for two years..... but Golovkin has been campaigning at 160 for 9 years now..... so, these lower-tier guys, they are more than happy to jump in with Golovkin, no problem at all..... but the actual good fighters, they are all scared, right?..... REALLY?

For 9 years, they have all been scared..... but the fearless Monroes of the world, they got no problem jumping in with GGG..... right?

                      GTFOH

As proven by bigjavi, Golovkin has the exact resume that he wanted.

Golovkin is a well-managed, protected, fighter..... just like I always said.

" anyone from 154-168 ", actually means..... only if we think we can beat them, and be well-paid for our trouble.

He is no different from any other fighter..... not a killer, not avoided, and not special at all..... and if he was special, he would have signed to fight Ward, or at least Lara.
