Ward is just irrelevant as we speak -- he came back to fight Paul Smith at 176.
It's up to Ward if he takes GGG's offer or go and fight Paul Smith again.

if ggg rehydrated to 163 i'd say he need a CW, but the simple fact that he walks around at 180 tells me that he doesnt need crap but a pair of balls..he and ward walk around maybe 5 lbs apart..go for the legacy and quit Biotching out

Mayweather fought Augustus at 135, and many times before that fought above 130. And besides him being as tall and longer than this Castillo guy who'd been KO'd somethin like 5 times, within 2 years Mayweather moved up another 5 lb's.
Lol, dude, do yourself a favor and stop boxrecing it, it's quite pathetic.

The picture is for perspective. It shows the size disparity isn't huge between the two. Ward is bigger obviously but the difference isn't even as great as Cotto/Golovkin. Just for the record, I do think Cotto should fight Golovkin if he's going to keep the belt.

That's your proof that the size difference isn't that big? A picture where GGG dwarfs Cotto? BWAHAHA!!!!

Post reported. Again. I suggest that everyone hit the report button on this bigoted racist @sshole. Shit like this does not belong on the board here.

I don't think Team GGG wants the fight at all, they are throwing everything in to make sure the fight would not come off, in doing so they can fend off the pressure by saying Ward didn't agree to a carchweight etc before it was PPV numbers, or his name was not big enough even though Ward is still a bigger name, It is only the pressure that even made them negotiate with Team Ward, it's back to chasing the bigger names but smaller men whilst hyping how everyone is ducking him.

Castillo did come in to the ring at 147 for that fight so there was a clear size advantage. Also, Castillo hadn't been stopped at 135. He was a tough out in his prime. The only time he was stopped at LW was the miracle comeback against Corrales.
