It's funny people excuse Canelo who is about the same size/heavier than Golovkin from fighting Cotto, but mention that Cotto should either fight Golovkin or relinquish the belts and all hell breaks loose.

The first fight where there is any potential compromise on Ward's part at all and "nope, no way". GGG is willing to move up 4 pounds but Ward won't compromise one bit.......yet it's GGG who doesn't want the fight?

You guys are crazy....defend him if you want but Ward is the one who doesn't want it. Both Chavez and Froch were the A-sides compared to GGG but Ward isn't, so GGG had little leverage over them. Ward still thinks he is the A-side but he isn't.
