Ward is at the top of the sport? One fight in two years against an out of shape, overweight, untrained blob puts him at the top of the sport? PLEASE!

Golovkin wants to unify all the titles at MW. Ward is not a middleweight. Ward is inconsequential to GGG's primary goal. Beating him does nothing for GGG's reputation at all and could cause him difficulties in achieving his primary goal. Ward should be kept for AFTER GGG has unified all the titles at MW.

Ward has a bigger name then both GGG and Lemuiex, how can he be nothing? GGG is the one who has done nothing and he needs a name on his shlt resume. Ward has been inactive lately so why not capitalize on that and catch him at the right time to get that name under your belt?

yeah, he has such a "big" name that his promoter has to PAY a network to show his fight, and they have to give away tickets even to half-fill an arena.

I just want GGG fans to REMEMBER Who started all of this. You Guys Did! As Well As Abel Sanchez! I seen GGG fans when Ward was dealing with his promotion issues it was GGG fans spamming Ward Instagram Comment Section being very disrespectful and saying ****** ****. Now that Ward is back and is pursing this fight hard, I see some people REACHING for excuses and deep down they really don't want this fight.

That was always hyperbole from the promoter & trainer anyways, or else he would never fight at all. His record would be 0-0-0. It is accurate to say a number of high profile fighters & contenders/title holders have turned him down though, that much can't be denied (Cotto/Queen Diva, Martinez, Sturm, N'dam, Quillin, etc.). We all know he's had a hell of a time getting guys in his own weight class and in a couple of instances even guys in a weight class above him (chavez/froch).

This is a huge victory for Cotto stans though, as they can now for at least a day defect the criticism away from king catchweight cotto and fighting GEALE over GGG haha
