Why doesn't Ward step up and fight Kovalev??? He cleaned out his whole division and now he wants to have a guy come up in weight to fight him??? I would favor Ward over GGG but I would favor Kovalev over Ward. That would be way more impressive not to mention Kovalev cleaned Hopkins clock and GGG is still looking for a defining victory.

Didn't Chad himself say he would go down with no problem in that post fight interview??

GGG is worried about the skills not punching power.

Why would losing to arguably one of the best fighters in the last five years, end his hype? FOH groupie.

I'm sure if both want the fight that bad a compromise will be made. Thus far GGG is willing to move up 4lbs to meet Ward. I'm sure he'll be willing to move up another lb or 2 if Ward is willing to make a compromise as well.

From what BoxingScene was told, Golovkin's side is insisting on a catch-weight of 164-pounds.

There have been conversations between Roc Nation Sports (who have Ward) and K2 Promotions (who have Golovkin), but those discussions have gone absolutely nowhere because the two sides are unable to get past the issue of weight.
