Floyd Mayweather being the highest paid athlete in the sport is a testament to just how great he is. He's not receiving any hand outs. He doesn't have a built in fanbase like most Mexican and Euro fighters.

Sure Mexicans get hated on sometimes, but you can combine every Mexican boxer in the sport and it still won't amount to the hate and criticism Floyd Mayweather has received for the majority of his career.

Mexican boxers get props all day and all night from most. It's almost cliche to hear things like "AZTEC WARRIOR" or "MEXICANS ARE KEEPING THE SPORT ALIVE".

What African American Boxer gets tons of props and respect even on this forum?

Andre Ward? Floyd Mayweather? Deontay Wilder? Andre Berto? Adrien Broner? Shawn Porter? Terrance Crawford?

Now compare that to a guy like CANELO. He's beloved by mostly everyone except Cotto fans.

And what are you talking about Blacks don't support Mexicans? That's not true. I've supported Mexican fighters dating back to Michael Carbajal, Chiquita Gonzalez, Rico Lopez, Vargas, Hoya, Barrera, Morales, JMM, Juan Diaz, Canelo, etc...

And if most Blacks don't say they're favorite boxer is a Mexican it's probably because the style that Mexicans usually fight with plus they're is always an AA boxer that can woop the best Mexican fighter of every era and generation.

Black fight fans have had too many great options of our own to ever make a Mexican fighter our favorite. Sorry, it's not racist, but a style thing.

Plus African American boxers have DOMINATED Mexican fighters for too many years now. Ya'lls rivals are Puerto Ricans, not African Americans. Mexicans have thrown the towel in when it comes to African American fighters. Floyd Mayweather proved that.
