The fact of the matter is, just like every other fight in his career, Canelo will be the stronger guy in the ring. The more you fight that fact the more disaapointed you guys will be come fight night. If Cotto has a chance at winning, it's not gonna be because of his power.

I'm still waiting to here this murderers row of power punchers that Canelo and Golden Boy have avoided throughout Canelos career.

Who Paul Williams? Vic Ortiz? Man, they would have made for some sick KOs for Canelos highlight reel.

triangle theories? ok, lets play that game, lara had trout on canvas not once but twice, cotto couldnt even hurt trout, so lara hits harder than cotto by that theory , so if lara couldnt hurt canelo, cotto wont even bother him...

Smart pick. Cotto has better skills but he will fold under pressure.

                I agree.

As soon as Canelo star touching Cotto up to the head and body, he's gonna have some Margarito flashbacks and get on his bike.

And Canelo doesn't get enough praise for actually being able to pin Lara up from time to time and unleashing combinations. I don't think there's anyone who thinks Cotto is a better mover-defensive fighter / counterpuncher than Lara.

Canelo by UD (he's not nearly as relentless as Margarito to keep getting in Cotto's face, so i don't think he will be able to stop the Puerto Rican)

Its a tough fight to call. Canelo does seem to improve slightly in all his fights, but I dont know if he is there yet, if he has it or will ever be that star, I am not convinced with Canelo, he is a very good fighter, but I dont think he is great yet. Cotto looks reborn under Roach, he has that snap on his shot again, that combined with Canelo being the younger and stronger guy, makes for a very tough fight to call. Should be a classic fight.

Cotto will probably end up looking like he did after Margarito 1.

Canelo was stronger than Floyd and Lara... he lost both. If you're thinking his power will win the day, it'll be you who is disappointed.
