I dont know, I think DLH made a bad choice in fighting Mayorga he always seem to fight the guys that Tito fought already..why is that?..lol..
But I think Mayorga will KO DLH, I see DLH easily winning the first 8-9 rds but Mayorga is going to catch him with a shot and rock him. DLH is a great fighter but his stamina isnt all that great and he will have to be on his bike againts a guy like Mayorga who will be trying to take his head off the whole fight.

i dunno man, oscar has a great chin and has tons of motivation for this fight. i see him sweeping the early rounds and possibly getting a corner stoppage late in the fight. i just hope mayo doesnt attempt some of his classless tactics like he did against tito...im not a huge tito fan but i was pumped when tito ktfo'd him

This fight is as straight forward as they come Mayorga will swing wildly and Oscar will use his superior Jab and close punching to conuter everything I think Oscar wins this one by Unanimous Decision

He didnt even make it to the late rounds for his ****** antics with Tito. Oscar tends to tire late in fights so that could be a possibility but I know what you are making reference to and that is the Vargas fight correct? It will be interesting no doubt about it because both are explosive at times I still think Oscar will win but I think Mayorga wont let out a lot of energy in the first half and save it for late where Oscar is the most vulnerable.

mayo fought bravely to the very end with tito who outgunned him at 160 and actually started off round 8 well. he semed to be more polished against picirillo but as he did in forrest II got gased by rounds 7, 8, and 9 but turned it on again in 10, 11, and 12.
mayo is always dangerous and i don't think oscar can hurt him. at this stage in his career oscar has slowed down quite a bit. while age may be also getting to mayorga, mayorga's unorthodox and brash style may make the difference in this fight. the judges will see mayo's attack as effective even if his shots are landing on the shoulders of oscar. you can't help but notice mayo's attack, it is very pronounced even when his punches don't land his opponents get flustered from the bum rush.
mayorga may either hurt oscar very early or very late but can still win on points if the judges see oscar unsteady and frustrated with mayo's barfight style.

mayorga didnt make it to the champ rounds. what i ment was by the time he went down he was tierd. i consider anything past the 7th late rounds( i think it went on thill the 9th, not to sure tho). vargas is on example of what de la hoya can do in the late rounds also againt ike, carr, and sweet pea. De la hoya when he started he was not use to late rounds but as he has gotten older he has been getting more comfortable in those late rounds. he has a good amount of kos after the 7th
