It's his last fight bro...he's been boxing for 17 years and has been undefeated for that long. It's on free TV so we are not losing anything. Every fighter get at least one gimme, what wrong with that.

Berto sucks but again, Floyd wants a gimme in his very last fight and he's entitled to it.

When has Floyd not fought a gimme. Maidana was a gimme, regardless if he fought better than expected, Guerrero was a gimme, Ortiz was a gimme, Marquez was a gimme. Shane mosely was a gimme. None of those fights had people overwhelmingly saying he has a good chance to lose.

Its only not a gimme when the Majority of the people say he has a chance to loss. And each fighter I mentioned, it wasn't like they were the absolute best available opponent out there. When has any of them stood on top of the division or been considered the best, if they were ever it wasn't when Floyd fought them.

Former champion Victor Ortiz is shaking his head at the recent news that Floyd Mayweather Jr. will defend his WBC/WBA welterweight titles against Andre Berto on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The fight will reportedly take place on CBS as a free broadcast and not on a pay-per-view platform.

Ortiz was out in New York City getting ready to attend the premiere of his new boxing flick "Southpaw" -- when he went off on both Floyd and Andre Berto ... saying the matchup was a disgrace to the sport.

These guys only become "gimme" after he beats them. He's not getting credit for a win, no matter who he fights at this point. He just undressed the guy everyone said was destined to beat him. There's nothing left to "prove"

Mayweather has nothing to PROVE to anyone, he's earned the right to fight Berto or anyone else he see's fit for that matter, the only people who are crying are people that want him to LOSE...so stop it with the nonsence people!
